Frothy Cream
This is the white sheepskin of a lifetime for me. The combination of curly locks and fluff is perfect and striking. The range of colors is butter yellow, cream, and bright, silky white, but it does photograph a little darker than it looks in real life. There is a little sawdust down the middle. If you purchase, I do not recommend combing out—it will diminish the curls. I promise, it’ll shake out with time. This sheepskin was bark-tanned with love and devotion by me, and the leather came out exceptionally beautifully. Please note, there is a quarter-sized hole on the bottom left of the leather (not noticeable at all on the fiber side). 46x28”
When measuring, I measured down the middle for both length and width. Some parts of the hide will be longer and some will be shorter. I measured the leather side. Fiber often extends beyond the leather.
I live with dogs, so please consider that if you are extremely allergic. These hides will become softer with time and use. I wash and comb these sheepskins multiple times, but you will still find pieces of organic matter in them once in awhile—it’s impossible to get it all out! They will also smell like lanolin to some degree or another, which not everyone is used to. You can wash them sparingly (if you’d like more info on this, check out my faq). If you ever decide you don’t want this hide, please compost it or leave it to decay into the woods—don’t throw it in a landfill!
If you would like to arrange a payment plan, I’d be happy to do so with you—please email me at azizathemouse@proton.me! I am not accepting returns at this time, so please ask any and all questions before you buy.
