This sheepskin shawl was bark-tanned and indigo-dyed with love and devotion by me. The ties are brain-tanned mule deer. The curls are soft, shimmery, and fluffy. The indigo is a luminous silvery-blue. The leather of this shawl stiffened up a little when I dyed it, but it will soften quickly with wear.
